Spring is finally here, and for us at Vnyc that mean's dropping all those dark layer's we love so much(the one's that tend to look so serious) for something lighter & more playful.
Besides the quick change in color choices, you will notice a lighter sense of ease, and a bit of a demure naivety in our favorite spring pieces.
Take for instance this hand-beaded Bergdorf Goodman bustier from the early 90's, it's rather sexy in shape and cut, as well as eye-catching with it's hilarious Looney Tunes depiction. If it were to be covered with almost anything else, it could give the wearer a risk of looking tawdry, but here it's just cheeky in a fresh sort of way!

Sprouse in da House: Stephen Sprouse Brights

V are happy to announce that we have just acquired these two fabulous pieces from highly coveted 80's graffiti artist turned mega-designer STEPHEN SPROUSE. The first is a classic melon colored a-line empire waist dress, and the second is a three piece hand knit rainbow striped suit consisting of a wide cropped sweater, tap pants and long leg-warmers.

They are great testaments to his vision and are both poppy, up-beat offerings, and those tap shorts...very Lolita.

From the 90's comes this gorgeous silver cuff that is covered in edgy mesh with a diamiond cut center piece that has an awesome spiral whirling out of it! It's just one of those great unsigned costume pieces. It's very modern, timeless and especially perfect for the urban warrior.
