Chanel of Champions
"Just the thing for my morning cardio!" From us to you: celebrating conspicuous consumption the Chanel way (is there any other?)
Karl's got us covered for any need indeed. (would've totally paid more attention to the end of Marie Antoinette if Sofia could have gotten her mitts on this baby.)
In the future this is what we'll all be: smoking noir babes of the highest degree -- oh yes, and droids.
Attraction and repulsion are strange bedfellows
Those be some ALLIED MICKEY MOUSE EARS
Eyes like Zapruder and a mouth that blooms
The gentlewoman
Dressing like an Anais Nin protagonist

Behind the Scenes shoot for D Magazine
Vagabond NYC delves into their collection, mixing together a study in masculine tailoring, punched up with riotous prints and technicolor brights.
80s Gianni Versace pique jacket and ladybug print bermudas
Vintage crepe hooded pullover, fit for a 40s film star; Chanel boucle wool trouser
Kristen Arnett, founder of Green Beauty Team, worked her magic on Grace, mixing intense pigments in hues of emerald and magenta.
80s Karl Lagerfeld top and skirt, Chanel chain belt
Grace Bol -- a Sudanese-by-way-of-Kansas City model who is represented by Major -- brought her experience and delightful demeanor to set. Her extraordinary beauty shines through even in these candid photos, and her self possessed confidence in front of the camera infused the pictures with a serene power. Appearing recently in the Thierry Mugler resort show, we believe Grace's trajectory shall continue to rise and wish her all the best!

New Looks Coming Soon to VagaBondnyc.com
We've been so busy bulking the shop up with scores of vintage beauties that we realize it's been a while since we've added new shop-able editorials to our signature "Looks" section, but that doesn't mean that we haven't been hard at work dreaming up all kinds of shoots for the shop. Come New Year, V promise to get back on the ball and return to adding new ones each month. So be on the look out, first up: Theodora & Alexandra Richards.Above: a recent snap from a shoot we did with photographers Alexey & Stephanie.

New Look at VagaBondnyc.com: Ray
Head to Vnyc to check out our latest new look: Ray, inspired by the vision of Ray Petri, the late legendary stylist. We at Vagabond Nyc have always been fond of his mad-cap mix of designer rags teamed with bits of lingerie, athletic basics and under garments to create a strong look that juxtaposed the diverse street scenes of the 1980's. If anything, one could argue that Petri's high-lo contribution to fashion, his mix of genre defining elements, is exactly the way people dress today. Our take on the era features various finds from our shop that are as disparate in concept from Jean Paul Gaultier bodysuits to a classic Chanel Tuxedo blouse complete with bow, all while trying not to get trapped in that all too literal 80's retro-box designers seem to be getting into these days.
