Inspiration: Artist Kenneth Anger's Mouse Heaven
The experimental work of iconic video artist Kenneth Anger has always been great inspiration & a starting point for many designers & artists, including most recently, Valentino's fab design duo Pier Paolo Piccioli & Maria Grazia Chiuri. The pair cited Anger as inspiration for their Fall 2010 outing and featured the artist's videos as backdrops for the house's runway presentation with Anger watching from the front row himself. Above is 2004's Mouse Heaven with an "all toy" cast based on Walt Disney's fabled characters.
